The International Centre for Parliamentary Studies presents the results of a global electoral workforce survey spanning 26 jurisdictions across four regions. Drawing on responses from senior electoral officials worldwide, this webinar examines the operational challenges facing Election Management Bodies — from managing temporary workforces of up to 1.5 million staff, to training gaps, credential verification, and workforce retention between election cycles.
The session will explore how emerging technologies, including blockchain, can address the pain points identified by practitioners, with perspectives from academia, the field, and technology partners. Join us for an honest, data-led conversation about what electoral officials told us they need — and what practical solutions could look like.
